OGC Nice / Transfer Market: Delort forces his departure to Nantes, Moffi targeted to replace him

Latest News

For several weeks now, the Algerian international has been on the move. The Nice board already has a contractual agreement with the forward who will come to replace him.

Discussions between the Gym and FC Nantes began several days ago regarding the transfer of the Nice striker to Loire-Atlantique. OGC Nice is expecting a sum of around 7 million euros to release its player. Although an agreement has yet to be found between the two clubs, the Eagle of the 2022/23 season is determined to join the Canaries. To force his departure, Andy Delort did not show up for the Gymโ€™s training session scheduled for this Wednesday.

The sporting management of the Cรดte d’Azur club has already earmarked the name of the player who will succeed the native of Sรจte. He is currently the second top scorer in Ligue 1 (12 goals), the Nigerian from FC Lorient, Terem Moffi. According to several sources, Nice has already reached an agreement with the player who has scored 34 goals in Ligue 1 over the course of 3 seasons.

Even though the playerโ€™s representatives are demanding his departure to the Lorient management, OGC Nice will still have to put a substantial amount on the table to acquire Moffiโ€™s services. Indeed, after rejecting an initial offer of 18 million with bonuses, Lorient is now demanding 30 million for their forward.
