As every year in the Azurean capital, February is synonymous with the unmissable Nice Carnival. These festivities are renowned worldwide, and Nice sees significant tourist attendance during this festive period, which necessitates particular organization and adaptation.

During this period, the municipality encourages the use of public transport as numerous traffic and parking restrictions will be implemented. Modifications are expected on bus lines running along the Promenade des Anglais and in the city center as well as on tram line 1.

The tram service is occasionally interrupted at Place Masséna and Boulevard Jean-Jaurès.
A partial service is set up on one hand between the “Henri Sappia” station and the “Masséna” station (getting off at “Jean Médecin” and boarding at “Masséna”) and on the other hand between “Garibaldi” station and “Hôpital Pasteur” station.
