As every year, the national holiday causes some disruption to traffic in the city. Here is all you need to know about the traffic arrangements that will be in place from Thursday, July 13 to Friday, July 14.
To facilitate movement, the city of Nice encourages its residents to use public transportation. Additionally, it is advised to avoid driving in the Promenade des Anglais/Vieux-Nice area. Indeed, this area is expected to be particularly congested, as it is every year. If you wish to visit, consider using the various Parkazur parking facilities. Finally, to avoid endangering others, you must strictly follow the signage and information system that will be put in place for this event.
From July 13 at 7:30 PM to July 14 at 1 AM: Temporarily modified traffic
Traffic will be prohibited (except for priority emergency vehicles and authorized users) in the following areas:
- South lane of Promenade des Anglais between rue Sauvan and avenue Max Gallo
- North lane of Promenade des Anglais between avenue Max Gallo and boulevard Gambetta
- Quai des Etats-Unis
- Quai Rauba Capeu between Place du 08 Mai and Place Guynemer, except for vehicles exiting rue des Ponchettes allowed in reverse direction from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM and from 11 PM to 1 AM
- Rue Milton Robbins
- Rue Brรฉa
- Rue Vanloo
- Avenue Max Gallo
- Rue Saint Franรงois de Paule between rue Desboutin and avenue Max Gallo
- Avenue Fรฉlix Faure, from rue Alberti to Place Massรฉna, except for users of the Massรฉna car park
