Latest News

“Design is a country in itself, Milan is its capital.” Ahead of the furniture fair, which will be held from April 4th to 9th, a conference for the press announced the tone.

A meticulously detailed welcome, with a design that extends to a souvenir gadget—a USB key. Enough to make up for the half-hour wait before hearing from Roberto Snaidero (Director of the Fair) and Giuseppe Sala, Mayor of Milan.

Their announcements show the scale of the event. 20 hectares for 2000 exhibitors, divided into three categories of furniture: classic, design, luxury. But the fair does not settle for this simple role. Other events share the spotlight on the complex.

One hectare and 200 exhibitors for the art supplement. Part of the exhibition is also dedicated to the future with 3.0 furniture (LED technology, eco-responsibility, connected home), essentially the house of the future. The program also includes the screening of a short film on the imagination of future life, DeLightFuL.

The satellite exhibition, celebrating its 20th anniversary, is also present. An event that has already hosted 10,000 promising designers. Other exhibitions will be available to explore in the city of Milan during this design week.
