From 2:00 PM this Tuesday at Place Masséna, hospital staff will be on strike again. The CGT 06 union has also called for demonstrations in Antibes, Grasse, and La Brigue this Tuesday, December 7th.

The CGT 06 has called for a demonstration this Tuesday, December 7th, stating that hospital staff are “exhausted.”
Health professionals are particularly demanding “an immediate increase in salaries and qualifications,” an increase in funding based on the needs of various health facilities, as well as an increase in the recruitment of qualified staff.
They are also asking for better recognition of the “arduousness” of their profession, as well as an end to the removal of beds in services.
“The government and employers continue to stifle the public hospital, sanitary facilities, medico-social, social establishments, both in the public and private sectors,” reports the CGT 06.
