1. The Grand Store by Yoshimi Itazu

Akino works as an apprentice concierge in a rather special department store. Her clients are animals of all kinds, from penguins to cats, from the smallest to the largest, from winged to horned. Enthusiastic, somewhat clumsy, but above all very dedicated to her mission, she goes to great lengths to satisfy each and every request. This Japanese animated film is a screen adaptation of the manga The Concierge at the Big Store by Tsuchika Nishimura.

2. Suddenly Alone by Thomas Bidegain

Ben and Laura, played by Gilles Lellouche and Mรฉlanie Thierry find themselves alone on a wild island near the Antarctic coast. The couple was on a world tour by boat when they decided to stop on this piece of land before heading towards South America. During their exploration, a storm hits and destroys their boat. They are now left to fend for themselves. Together for 5 years, their survival and the survival of their relationship are at stake as winter approaches quickly.

3. Building 5 by Ladj Ly

After โ€œLes Misรฉrablesโ€, Ladj Ly tackles the issue of inadequate housing in this social thriller led by Anta Diaw. Haby, a young woman deeply involved in her community in Montvilliers, discovers the new redevelopment plan for the working-class neighborhood where she grew up. Pierre Forges, a young pediatrician thrust into the role of mayor, is behind this project. He plans the demolition of the building where Haby was raised. Along with her community, she embarks on a showdown against the municipality and its grand ambitions to prevent the destruction of Building 5.

4. Migration by Benjamin Renner and Guylo Homsy

The Colvert duck family is about to see their orderly life turned upside down. While the father of the family, Mack, is very satisfied with living in their small pond in New England, his wife Pam is tired of this routine and wants to show something different to their children, Dax the eldest and his little sister Gwen. 5. Merry Christmas by Clรฉment Michel
