The city of Nice rejects the real estate project of fourteen villas on Chemin de Crémat, alongside the residents of the hills.
The mayor of Nice expresses strong concerns about a real estate project of 14 villas being developed on several plots at 449 Chemin de Crémat. The city of Nice had issued several unfavorable opinions on this project, describing itself as vigilant in preserving the hills and respecting the urban planning code. As a result, they have raised several negative points such as:
- Its very poor integration into the hill landscape,
 - An architectural approach that is largely questionable,
 - Conditions of project access deemed insufficient, particularly due to the absence of a secure pedestrian pathway on the public road.

Despite the unfavorable opinions on this project, the Departmental Directorate of Territories and the Sea of Alpes-Maritimes did not take them into account. Construction was authorized to begin on July 12, 2020. Despite the city’s reports against this project, a modified building permit was issued on September 9, 2023.
Christian Estrosi protests that the state does not take their opinion into account: “Since 2008 we have been attentive to ensuring that each development respects our environment and landscapes, I cannot tolerate that a collective housing real estate project, for which the City and the Metropolis have issued unfavorable opinions, is authorized.”
