The Tour de France will stop in Nice on the weekend of July 20th and 21st for its last two stages, leading to significant traffic restrictions in the city.
The French Riviera is preparing to welcome cyclists this weekend. The impact on traffic will be significant, with several road closures and detours planned.
Saturday, July 20th
ยทย ย The Paillon expressway will be closed from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
ยทย ย The Mathis lane heading towards the port and the Malraux tunnel will also be closed to traffic from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, forcing vehicles to exit at Cimiez.
ยทย ย From 7 AM to 3 PM, Stalingrad Boulevard (between Alicante Street and Carnot Boulevard) and Quai des Deux Emmanuel will be closed.
ยทย ย Place รle de Beautรฉ (south roadway), Quai Papacino, and Quai Lunel will be inaccessible from 8:30 AM to 3 PM.
ยทย ย From 8:30 AM Saturday to 4 AM Monday, Quai Rauba Capeu, Quai des รtats-Unis, Avenue Max Gallo, and the Promenade des Anglais (north and south roadways between Magnan and Avenue Max Gallo) will also be closed.
ยทย ย From 9 AM to 2:30 PM, Jean Jaurรจs Boulevard, Barla Street, Cassini Street, Risso Boulevard, Jean-Baptiste Vรฉrany Boulevard, and the entire route up to the Paillon expressway will be inaccessible.
ยทย ย Starting from 8:30 PM Saturday until 2 AM Monday, Quai Papacino and Quai Lunel will be closed.
ยทย ย From 9 AM Saturday to 5 AM Monday, Verdun Avenue, Place Massรฉna, and Fรฉlix Faure Avenue starting from Alberti Street will be closed.

Sunday, July 21st
From 4 AM to 11 PM, Bonaparte Street (between Place Max Barel and Arson Street), Arson Street (between Bonaparte Street and Place รle de Beautรฉ), and Place รle de Beautรฉ will be closed. Access to Nice via Carnot Boulevard/M6098 will also be impossible for vehicles over 2.40m in height.

Tram line 1 will not operate between Massรฉna and Vauban on Saturday from 9 AM to 2:30 PM, and between Massรฉna and Garibaldi from 2:30 PM to Sunday 5 AM.
