The Department aims to make the Alpes-Maritimes a leading destination, both nationally and internationally, for nature sports, leisure, relaxation, and well-being in the mountains.
Since the Vésubie Valley is already a reference in this domain, it was natural to wish to establish a sports facility there, such as the Vesúbia Mountain Park.
The challenge was to create a strong and sustainable economic dynamic in this valley, respectful of the heritage and identity of the territory, while being open to the world and modernity. Thanks to this facility, Saint-Martin-Vésubie now holds a prominent position among mountain tourist and sports destinations.
The Vesúbia Mountain Park opened its doors to the public a year ago. At the end of this first year, its attendance exceeded the announced forecasts, confirming the general acclaim from users of this unique sports and recreational facility.
