Exhibition: André, Jean and the others…
L’Artistique has received a new collection that opens today and runs until July 31. It is the work of André Verdet and Jean Ferrero. The two men met in the 1960s in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, at the Colombe d’Or, an emblematic place where Jean Ferrero came to photograph many artists.

Science: Inauguration of the 11th edition of Neuroplanète
The 11th edition of Neuroplanète organized by Le Point in partnership with the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis takes place until March 7. This new edition offers a fascinating journey around the theme: “In the minds of women and men: pain, anxiety, parenthood…”. The programme can be found here.

Culture: Return of Mars at the Museums
The “Mars at the Museums” festival, initiated by Côte d’Azur University invites students for the 25th year to take charge of programming the museums over a given period. For this inauguration, the event is held at the Charles Nègre Photography Museum to discover an introspective journey entitled “I am myself” consisting of an exhibition tour, an introspective workshop and a choreographic performance.

Tribute: a ceremony in honour of Pierre Semard
As in many places throughout France, the PCF federation of the Alpes-Maritimes and the railway workers of the CGT are organizing a tribute ceremony to Pierre Semard in front of the stele bearing his name in Nice. Pierre Semard was a leader of these various unions and was shot by the Nazis on March 7, 1942 for his involvement in the Resistance.

Rugby: Nissa Rugby takes on US Bressane
Nissa Rugby, co-leader of Nationale with Albi, will host US Bressane at Marcel-Volot with the ambition of winning for the fifth consecutive time in the championship. As a reminder, access to the stands is free by reservation on the club’s website.

Fair: Nice Fair celebrates its 80th anniversary
For its 80th anniversary, the Fair transforms into a real living space offering events within the event every day from March 7 to 16, on the theme of the 1980s. Eighteen film screenings from the 1980s are planned in a real cinema in partnership with the Cinémathèque; stand-up comedy, a retro-gaming space from the 1980s and even a “hawker” competition and many other activities.

Competition: Final of the 11th edition of the departmental “Dance with Seniors” competition
This ballroom dancing competition for couples reserved for amateurs over 55 living in the 06 is a unique concept “made in” the Alpes-Maritimes department. For this 11th edition, a call for applications was distributed in the Seniors in action brochure and auditions were organized on September 9, 2025 at the Espace Laure Ecard in the presence of three choreographers and the artistic director.

Society: International Women’s Rights Day
March 8 marks each year the International Women’s Rights Day which contributes to gender equality and works to strengthen women’s rights. This Sunday, several workshops and activities are organized throughout the city. Find the programme here.
