The shopping streets of Nice will once again welcome the stalls of boutiques. The Great Sale of Nice merchants will take place from September 17 to 19, 2026, with hundreds of participating stores. For three days, shops will offer promotions and special offers directly in front of their boutiques.
This ninth edition comes after the sale organized in the Old Town two weeks earlier. The new operation is expected to affect different neighborhoods in the city. Fashion, decoration, beauty, accessories and delicacies will be represented among the sectors involved.
Beyond the sales offered by shops, the event is also expected to extend to other local business actors. Restaurateurs, hoteliers, café owners and bakers will be able to participate with “Special Offers for the Great Sale of Nice merchants”.
An operation led by Nice’s business community
The event is led by the Federation of Nice Trade and Crafts and the Nice Shopping association, with the assistance of merchant associations and the city of Nice.
The stated objective is to support local business and encourage foot traffic to neighborhood shops. The sale should also make it possible to rediscover the various stores present in Nice’s neighborhoods.
An interactive map is already available to identify participating shops. Residents and visitors will thus be able to plan their route between the different streets involved in the operation.
For merchants, the period should in particular allow them to offer end-of-season products and facilitate the arrival of new collections. The event also comes at a time when shops are seeking to maintain foot traffic in the downtown streets.
For three days, promotions and special offers will be spread across several sectors of Nice. The Great Sale will also rely on entertainment in the shopping streets to support the commercial operation.
