As part of the 2014 Nature Festival, two associations in Nice offer two activities: one to discover Nice through a walking tour among gardens and historical monuments, and the other to learn natural gardening techniques.
Urban Walking Tour
The Departmental Committee of the French Hiking Federation offers an Urban Walking Tour, guided by a historian, on the theme “Nice, its walks, its gardens, and its historical monuments.”
Meeting point for departure at 9 AM: Promenade du Paillon (opposite the children’s playground) / Meeting point for arrival: Parvis de la Gare du Sud

Workshop “Learning to Garden Naturally”
The ARBRE association offers a workshop on maintaining personal balconies and/or gardens by banning the use of pesticides to preserve health and the environment. Training in alternative techniques with free distribution of ladybug larvae.
