A third Public Services House has opened in Nice. After “Nice + Easy” in June 2025 and Saint-Roch in September 2025, it is now Magnan’s turn. Located at 31 Avenue de Bellet, this new facility continues the rollout of neighborhood service counters and facilitates administrative procedures for residents of western Nice and the surrounding hills.

“We want to bring government closer to citizens and offer Nice residents quality services just steps from their homes”, states Christian Estrosi during the inauguration of the Magnan Public Services House. A facility designed for proximity and accessibility. The Nice municipality continues its proximity plan with the opening of this third administrative counter, after “Nice + Easy” on Rue Tonduti de l’Escarène and the Saint-Roch facility at the Laure-Ecard space. Located on the ground floor at the site of the former BP service station, this new Public Services House was designed to be easily accessible to residents of the area. “The old service station no longer met the neighborhood’s needs. We therefore transformed this space into a place dedicated to local public services”, explains the Mayor of Nice.

Diane Bailly-Masson, Director of Citizenship and Services to the Population, also emphasizes the importance of this facility: “For us, it is about being able to satisfy users and the public. Opening this Public Services House in the heart of the Magnan neighborhood, at the location of the former service station, makes it possible to revitalize this site and bring services closer to the community and proximity.” She recalls that the facility includes not only civil registry services, but also family support services, municipal police, senior services, community activities, and street parking. “Users can come without an appointment, the system is very flexible and serves all types of people. We are at the crossroads of several neighborhoods and the idea is to decentralize public services: it is no longer a single central building where procedures are long and tedious, we bring public service to residents”, she explains. Diane Bailly-Masson finally emphasizes the complete life cycle covered by the civil registry: “we serve citizens from birth through old age, and even for death registration services. It is the cycle of life: our Public Services House (and its logo) is essential for everyone.”

Simplified procedures for all Nice residents

Residents can now carry out numerous procedures on site, from civil registry formalities to school registrations and daycare place requests, as well as services related to residential parking. Several municipal services offer regular offices, such as the municipal police, family and senior services, as well as community activities and associations. Institutional partners, including the Community Social Action Center and the General Directorate of Public Finances, complete the offering.

The project required six months of construction for a budget of 1.3 million euros. “The presence of multiple services in the same location allows for more efficient management of residents and improves working conditions for our staff”, emphasizes Christian Estrosi. With this third location, Nice strengthens its territorial coverage and confirms its commitment to bringing government closer to citizens, offering residents of the west and Nice hills simplified access to their public services. “We want this place to become a true reference point for local services and a community hub for the neighborhood”, concludes Christian Estrosi.

As a reminder, the Magnan Public Services House is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with free daily offices. An annex town hall will soon complete the site to centralize all civil registry-related procedures.
