This Wednesday from 1 PM in front of the Nice Courthouse
Martine Landry, an activist with Amnesty International France (AIF) and Anafé (the national association for border assistance for foreigners), is being prosecuted for “solidarity offense.”
She is on trial on February 14. She is accused of “facilitating the entry of two foreign minors in an irregular situation.” She faces up to five years of imprisonment and a fine of €30,000.
The member organizations of SOlidarité MIgrant-e-s COllectif 06 fully support Martine Landry and once again condemn the actions of the state services, which tend to criminalize simple solidarity and act outside the national and international regulatory framework.
