1st District
The much-anticipated second round has arrived. Eric Ciotti, closely associated with Christian Estrosi, will face the incumbent General Councilor Marc Concas, PS. There’s a 10% gap between the two men, but nothing is decided yet. Marc Concas has a significant pool of votes on the left and might even hope for the votes of Alain Roullier, supported by Jacques Peyrat and very critical of Eric Ciotti. Céline Lacroix has not yet announced her intentions but it’s likely that she will support Eric Ciotti.

Here again, the pool of votes is rather favorable to the socialist candidate who could create a surprise in these Nice cantonals.

90 votes. That’s the margin between Pierre Laigle, supported by Patrick Mottard, and Vincent Pechenot, backed by Patrick Allemand. The former will be present in the second round against the incumbent General Councilor. Supported by Patrick Allemand for March 16th, it will be difficult for Pierre Laigle to reach 50%. However, the transfer of votes from Fabien Bénard (Modem) and Benoit Loeuillet (Identitaires) could yet tip the balance. Nonetheless, it will still be tough to outweigh Jean-Pierre Mangiapan.
