Friday, January 17th at 8:30 PM, the Maurice Thorez hall invites you to embark on a journey to the planet of laughter with the theatrical performance “The Turtle’s Beret”, directed by the association “La scène déménage”.
“La scène déménage”: This is a troupe of friends who tread the boards of the French Riviera each year with their array of talented actors. After “Stop, You’re Annoying Me!”, “Santa Claus is a Bastard”, and “The Cardboard”, La scène déménage dons “The Turtle’s Beret” much to the delight of those nostalgic for the summer holidays!
However, “If you truly miss the beach, this play will help you get over it”, confides Virginie Decorte, president of the association “La scène déménage”.
In summary, “The Turtle’s Beret” is a contemporary and farcical play where “Three couples, who are completely different, share a seaside villa for their vacation. Judgments about each other are unfair and cruel. As with the summer fireworks display, here the farewell dinner is the climax…”
And in one sentence, “The Turtle’s Beret” is “Holiday with friends, spoiled holiday!” That promises to be interesting!!!
And what does the press say?
“Fun and sharp, the comedy hits the mark…”
L’Express
“[…] Well-perceived and filled with psychological insights, the authors have managed to avoid falling into stereotypes and caricature.”
Le Figaro Magazine
“The play revels in the miserable and funny comments exchanged by each couple once they are behind their bedroom doors.”
Le Parisien
“An ultra-accurate and hilarious portrayal of vacations with friends.”

In short, humor is on the menu: as a starter, main course, and dessert!!!
