Starting this year, there is no longer a need to submit a declaration of income to the Family Allowance Fund (CAF). You only need to file your income tax return with the Tax Office in May, even if you are not liable for taxes.
If the CAF needs additional information, they will contact you directly at the end of the year. To facilitate this contact, remember to update your phone and electronic contact details on nice.caf.fr > MY ACCOUNT.
Your benefits calculated for an entire year
Another change: your income from 2006 will be considered until December 31, 2008. If your family or professional situation does not change by then, the amount of your benefits will remain the same until that date.
It will be recalculated from January 1, 2009, taking into account the revaluation of the benefits scale as well as your 2007 income.
