The Photon collective is composed of 28 enthusiasts who present their works in various exhibitions, with a more or less monthly frequency. This time, they chose the theme of the Mercantour, the crown of mountains that truly gives its name to the department and is also the natural border with Italy.
Each photographer freely chose an approach, but the collection truly inspires the desire to leave the exhibition venue and rediscover the images… in nature!!!
As Victor Hugo said (in the exhibition book preface), “It is a sad dream that nature speaks and mankind does not listen.”
The Mercantour Park is:
– 2 departments
– 28 municipalities
– 68,500 hectares in the central zone
– 136,500 in the peripheral zone
– 3,143 meters in altitude at the Cime du Gélas
– The valleys of Roya, Bévéra, Vésubie, Tinée, Crans, Var, Ubaye, Verdun
