“Cavigal Nice Lutte 06 participated this weekend in the 2011 French Junior Championship in Paris (Rosny). The club fielded about ten juniors qualified for these final stages.
In the 55 kg freestyle wrestling category, Chakir Ansari won all his matches up to the final where he defeated Anthony Louchez from the national center of Cluses (Haute Savoie).
He has been selected for the upcoming European Championships that will take place in Serbia and the World Championships in Bulgaria this summer.
In the 120 kg freestyle wrestling category, Gor Abrahamyan also won all his matches up to the final. His technical and physical progress allowed him to earn this title, particularly thanks to his sports training at the France center in Dijon.
In the 84 kg freestyle wrestling category, Moussa Moussaev had an outstanding competition. Although he was overclassified in juniors, while still a cadet, he ranked 3rd in a high-level category.
Cavigal ranks as the 2nd French club behind Cluses (national center) and confirms its strong progress among the young categories.
The next event will be the tournament in La Seyne-sur-Mer on May 28th.”
