At 5:30 PM, Mr. Christian Estrosi will present the winners with the prizes for the Monaco-Nice Trophy “La Belle Classe” race.
After the award ceremony, a draw will be held among people who have previously filled out a response coupon, which will allow fifteen spaces to be won on board the traditional sailing ships participating in the Nice-Cannes race, Trophy “La Belle Classe” on Saturday, September 22, 2007.
Organized in collaboration with the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, the Monaco-Nice coastal race “La Belle Classe” is a unique offshore regatta.
Witnesses of a splendid past, the “Belle รpoque,” the sailing ships that compete, often over a hundred years old, have written the most beautiful pages of yachting history along the shores of the Alpes-Maritimes.
Besides the prestigious aspect of the race, “La Belle Classe” embodies three essential values: honoring and transmitting heritage, respecting a certain art of living, and preserving the environment. This highlights the importance of protecting the sea, the planet’s lungs, and favorite playground, which must be preserved intact for future generations.
