The French combined events championships took place this weekend in Aubagne. Mattias Cerlati, from Nice Côte d’Azur Athlétisme, claimed the title of national French champion.
The athlete from Nice secured the title with a total of 7509 points, demonstrating that he remains one of the top French athletes in the discipline.
Meanwhile, his clubmate Yasmina Agbi, a promising young athlete, finished 7th in the heptathlon by breaking her personal record with 4705 points. In the process, she improved three of her personal bests: in the shot put (9.91m), the long jump (5.40m), and the 800m (2:26.94).
