Public sector strike: between 2,000 and 4,000 protesters on the streets

For the first time in 10 years, all the civil service unions have united to send a strong message to the government in order to defend public service. All public sector professions seem to be represented: teachers, hospital and prison staff, retirees, etc.

In Nice, there were nearly 4,000 demonstrators marching in the street. Starting at 10 a.m. from Place Masséna, they headed to the “Tête carrée” before returning to Place Masséna.
