Absent from active political life for some time due to health reasons, Jean-Louis Borloo has announced his decision to cease all political activities. The UDI, the party of which he was president, is represented in our department by the deputy Rudy Salles, who wanted to pay tribute to him.
“I would firstly like to pay tribute to his work.
Indeed, the center-right owes him for taking the initiative to create this great political formation that is the UDI, which has become the second largest opposition force in less than two years and has just achieved great successes in municipal elections. Jean-Louis Borloo managed to unify all the center-right families both in Parliament and in all territories.
Wishing him better health and hoping that he continues to support the UDI in another way, I call for the mobilization of all our elected officials and all our activists to develop our political family in cohesion. That is why our two political families need to be strong, organized, and balanced.
With the UDI federation of the Alpes Maritimes that I chair, we will fully play our part in this ambitious mission. We will continue the work initiated by Jean-Louis Borloo to make the center a major political family.”
