Since their first edition, the Italian Film Days, a regular event at the Espace Magnan in Nice, strive to capture the essence of Italian cinema, with its comedies, social analyses, and unchanging originality that have made it essential. Taking an active part in this event, a special formation of the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra will give a concert on Friday, March 19 at 8 p.m. at the Espace Magnan, in tribute to Nino Rota. Composed of a string quintet, a flute, a clarinet, a trumpet, and a piano, this exceptional ensemble offers the following program:
-Orchestral suites by Nicola Scardicchio, never before performed in France
-I Vitelloni (Fellini)
-Romeo e Giulietta (Zeffirelli)
-La dolce vita (Fellini)
-Otto e mezzo (Fellini)
-Il Padrino (Coppola)
-Amarcord (Fellini)
-Il Gattopardo: Dances (Visconti)
