Education
Nationally, more than half of primary school teachers will be on strike, according to the National Union of School Teachers (SNUIpp). On Thursday, January 29, the City of Nice has set up a Minimum Service of Reception (SMA) for establishments where more than 25% of teachers are striking. Children from elementary and preschools who are registered at reception sites will be cared for in thirteen municipal structures (Activity and Leisure Centers, Leisure Centers, Gymnasiums, etc.), from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
SNCF
On the tracks, the SNCF will ensure the service of 40% of the TER trains on the “Les Arcs-Vintimille” line. The first train departing from Nice Ville to Vintimille is at 07:16 and the last at 19:46. In the direction from Les Arcs to Nice Ville, the first TER is at 06:38 and the last at 17:10. (For exact schedules, refer to the attached document). On average, 60% of TGVs and 30% of Corail trains will operate.
Regional Buses
– In Nice, the tramway and urban buses will not run. Inter-urban lines will be interrupted between 8:30 am and 1:30 pm.
Only the TAM lines 100, 112 (Menton-Monaco-Beausoleil), 301, 302, 303 (Contes-Berre-Coarraze), 510 (Tourettes-Vence-Gattières), 710, 720 (Nice-Carros-Sigale) and 790 will not be disrupted.
In Antibes, the Envibus network will be completely paralyzed. Disruptions are also expected on school transportation (for more information: https://www.envibus.fr/actualite.asp).
The Cannes network will be disrupted between 10 am and 4 pm.
In Cagnes, only lines 46 (Le Taude-Bergerie) and 47 (Le Peyron-Vence Rocade) will have modified schedules.
In Menton, lines of the Riviera Transport Company will also be disrupted (Info 04.93.35.93.60).
Airplanes

They should be open; notably, Caisse d’Epargne, Crédit Agricole, and Banque Populaire, which we contacted, will welcome their customers as usual.
