ESN Nice is organizing the 9th edition of the Welcome Day (International Students Welcome Day) this Wednesday, October 1st at 6:30 p.m. at the Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen (CUM),


welcome_day.jpg The International Students Welcome Day aims to welcome new incoming mobility students arriving in Nice and to inform them about student life in the city of Nice and at the University.

Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of the city of Nice, President of the Metropole Nice Côte d’Azur, and Jean-Christophe Martin, Vice President in charge of international relations, will speak to present the actions of the University and the City of Nice in favor of international students.

This event allows for the welcoming of international students arriving in Nice for their studies and presents them with the different stakeholders who can help them fully enjoy their student life during their stay.

An Integration Week

After this welcome day for international students, the Welcome Week will start, during which several events will be organized to best welcome and integrate the new students.

UNS, an International University

The University Nice Sophia Antipolis is particularly open internationally as it hosts more than 19% foreign students each year, while the national average is 12%. This represents more than 4,500 students. Over 130 nationalities are represented.

Nice, Historically Oriented Towards the International

The city of Nice, and more broadly the territory of the Metropole Nice Côte d’Azur, is globally known and recognized for its natural assets, cultural and tourist attractiveness, and its quality of life. More than 160 different nationalities live and work there.
