The “Rencontres en Toutes Lettres” is launched by the Côte d’Azur Mail Division of La Poste for the second consecutive year and aims to raise public awareness of epistolary exchanges and the emotions conveyed by writing and paper media. These are the objectives of this competition.
This new edition of the competition, under the patronage of Patrick Poivre d’Arvor, is themed “Dream and Travel.” It is open until midnight on April 30th (postmarked La Poste) to anyone residing in France.
Accessible to a wide audience with three categories (general public, high school students, and postal workers), the 2012 competition is enriched by a “Postal Art” category, which will reward creativity used in enhancing the envelope. Each category will have three winners who will receive numerous prizes.
About ten events will be organized during the competition to raise awareness among as many people as possible about the emotion of writing.
