The Open Nice Côte d’Azur once again has a date with history on this 4th edition since the tournament’s revival in 2010. Just a few days after the Open GDF-Suez in Cagnes-sur-Mer, the Open Nice Côte d’Azur thus contributes to perpetuating the grand tradition of Niçois and Azurian tennis through the efforts of Nice LTC, a historic club, present in the heart of the city since 1890, carrying a heritage but also knowing how to embrace modernity.

For Eric Ciotti, President of the General Council: “This tennis Open promises once again to be fiercely contested, to the great pleasure of lovers of the little yellow ball in a department where this sport enjoys tremendous popular enthusiasm. I welcome all these champions to the Alpes-Maritimes who contribute to the success of this event.”
The tournament hosts 28 players with an exceptional lineup for this 4th edition: Tomas Berdych, Gilles Simon, John Isner, Gael Monfils, Lleyton Hewitt. Also: Andreas Seppi, Marcel Granollers, Fabio Fognini, Benoit Paire, Xavier Malisse, Sam Querrey…
The tournament boasts a total prize of €410,200, an amount awarded to players based on their progress in the final draw.
