The Young Economic Chamber of the Nice Metropolis (JCEMN) is once again joining the global effort of members of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) to combat malaria by participating in the humanitarian campaign “Nothing But Nets” supported by the United Nations Foundation.

jcemn.jpg The principle is to send mosquito nets to the countries affected by malaria, with a unit price of $10 (approximately โ‚ฌ8) that covers their purchase, delivery, and training for the families using them. Each mosquito net can protect a family of four.

At an altitude of 1000 meters and located at the foot of the splendid Mercantour mountain range, at the confluence of the Borรฉon and Madone de Fenestres torrents, the picturesque village of Saint Martin Vรฉsubie will host the JCI Challenge for the second consecutive time on May 27th and 28th.

In 2011, the second edition of the JCI CHALLENGE brought together members from the French, Danish, Swedish, Turkish, and Swiss Junior Chambers. Thanks to the commitment of the various participants in this sports challenge and the donations collected over two days, the Young Economic Chamber of the Nice Metropolis was able to finance 183 mosquito nets for the “Nothing But Nets” campaign.

This sports challenge will bring together JCI members from around the world, as well as business leaders, employees, and representatives from civil society to promote our territory, but also values such as team spirit, human fraternity, and self-improvement.

All proceeds will be donated to JCI for the “Nothing But Nets” campaign.

Over two days, participants will compete in a spirit of camaraderie in teams of two in various events. These events* are accessible to everyone.

At the end of the sports events, participants will discover the wolf, its universe, and its history at the Alpha Wolf Park, The Time of the Wolf.
