Like every summer, numerous stalls bloom in flea markets and garage sales. As soon as the good weather arrives, residents and tourists stroll in search of a good bargain, and vendors aim, in this time of crisis, to make ends meet or add a little extra to their income!
The secondhand market is buzzing. Whether for economic or ecological reasons, there is no shortage of motives to give a second life to items that have been “left in the closet” for too long. Online sales platforms are hitting records, and new concepts such as swap parties and clothing swaps are emerging.
This enthusiasm has inspired three young people from Nice who are currently developing an innovative online system to facilitate exchanges between individuals.
