This event, which will take place this Saturday and Sunday, is an opportunity to share innovative experiences with actors committed to a transition process. A bio and farmers’ market: round tables, conferences, and debates; film screenings and exhibitions; booths, workshops, and fun activities are all on the agenda. A playful program also awaits your children!
Four major themes are being addressed this year: resilience to risk; towards different agriculture; learning and researching differently; the future of work. Nationally renowned guests will be present to exchange and debate these topics, and also to share their experiences with you.
The festival is sponsored by Boris Cyrulnik, a neurologist, psychiatrist, and ethologist, and Emmanuel Druon, President of Pocheco, a company featured in the film “Tomorrow.”
This year, Alternatiba 06 sets up a “Village of Alternative Solutions” on the Plain of Fontanette. It aims to bring together providers of concrete alternatives in response to the ecological, social, and economic crisis. Booths, mini-conferences, participatory workshops, and practical demonstrations will showcase the possible solutions.
For the general public, it’s a chance to discover other modes of behavior and consumption, new initiatives, and local producers. At the same time, this platform for local solutions, which are already buzzing with activity, will foster connections and encounters. In a festive and bucolic setting, there will be a dedicated area for discussion, exchange, and discovery.
