For many years, Health Insurance has been implementing support programs tailored to its audiences to ensure real access to rights, services, and healthcare for the entire population.
On its side, the Local Mission supports young people aged 16 to 25 in the implementation of a social and professional integration pathway until they achieve employment and autonomy. In this context, it intervenes in all areas that constitute a hindrance in this pathway.
Thus, health, whether physical and/or mental, appears as one of the major sources of exclusion from the labor market because it weighs on an individual’s ability to engage more than other difficulties.
The “Youth Health Pathway” is aimed at young people aged 16 to 25 in situations of vulnerability. Young people supported by the Local Mission can now join this initiative, which aims to provide better health support for young people in the process of integration.
The pathway is broken down into four stages for the young person:
Organization of a personalized interview taking into account their situation;
Appointment with a CPAM advisor to ensure the updating of their rights and to raise awareness of the proper use of systems for better access to healthcare;
Conducting a free health check-up and having the young person participate in prevention workshops suitable for their situation;
Support in an integration approach through health.
