The Equality and Employment Diversity Weeks are organized by Alter Egaux, the CIDFF, the University of Nice, and the Academy Rectorate, in partnership with the High Council for Gender Equality, the PACA Region, the regional prefecture of Paca, and the prefecture of the Alpes-Maritimes.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Alpes-Maritimes collective is launching its program for the construction of equality. After bringing together more than 600 people last year through 17 events across the department, the fourth edition of the Gender Weeksยฎ becomes “The Weeks of Equality and Employment Diversity in Paca.”
The event has been supported since 2013 by Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, Minister of Women’s Rights and the High Council for Gender Equality.
The 2014 edition highlights legislative news with focuses on employment diversity, and the role of men in building a shared culture of equality.
As every year, exemplary practices identified in the region are highlighted to make equality a reality here and now. The Equality and Employment Diversity Weeks are full of gems and practical solutions, too often unknown or invisible, and yet easy to implement.
From edition to edition, the event is rooted in the territory and becomes an annual meeting, involving more and more partners in all areas of society: education, economy, social, parenting, etc.
