After Massena Square and the Promenade des Anglais, the OGC Nice Village took over a new iconic spot in the city yesterday: the forecourt of the National Theater of Nice, on the occasion of an exceptional day!
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND AUTOGRAPH SESSION
Under a radiant sun, the doors of the TNN opened yesterday shortly after noon. For this day, highlighting the world of football, visitors were offered a real pre-match atmosphere, Allianz Riviera style, on the forecourt of the National Theater of Nice.
On the program: inflatable structures, football (precision shooting, mini-arena, football tennis), and musical entertainment provided by Radio Emotion. Numerous Gym stands (official store, ticket office, Endowment Fund, and Mèfi Club) were accessible to the public. As a prelude to the play Stadium, being performed (February 6 and 7), Wylan Cyprien and Rémi Walter came to delight the youngsters with a grand autograph session!
EVENING PERFORMANCE OF THE SHOW “STADIUM”
Following the closure of the OGC Nice Village, the theater doors opened to welcome the show “Stadium” by Mohamed El Khatib. A tribute paid to the supporters and their fervor for the club to which they are committed daily. Real “Ch’tis” supporters of RC Lens take the stage to share, with much humor, their unconditional love for football and the blood and golds!
“If Mohamed El Khatib uses folklore and popular speech, it is to better evoke the closure of the last mine and the future of a region where unemployment and the FN would prevail if football did not exist. When these heirs of the working world shout their club’s anthem at the top of their lungs, beware of chills! We find ourselves envying this proud, fraternal, and untamed humanity.” can be read on the TNN website.
Around fifty members of the Supporters Club (CDS) were also present. Some Eaglets attended the performance. They were accompanied by the young members of the Training Center, with the National 2 squad participating as part of a cultural outing to discover the world of Shakespeare.
According to Le Monde “You don’t need to know football to appreciate Stadium: even those who can’t tell the difference between a penalty and a free-kick will find something to enjoy. The show is, above all, the theater of a community that unites behind a banner.” Something to be tempted by!
