Despite the restrictions, indeed, and without being able to organize events with gatherings of people, Sanremo is offering (and will do so throughout the summer) a series of events, especially musical ones. “We are ready,” said the municipal councilor Giuseppe Faraldi, “to put the tough period of lockdown behind us and ease the situation. Sanremo is ready for events and entertainment. We are certainly fortunate because the weather is on our side, not to mention that the landscape helps us too. Here, you can discover the sea and the mountains in just a few minutes, and the administration, along with the city operators, have managed to create a musical ‘period’ between July and August, so that tourists can find a safe and pleasant city, welcoming them with open arms.”
It has not been possible to organize events such as concerts or other things, but until the end of August and probably also in September, every evening, you can enjoy musical nights in the city’s clubs and parks: “This year, we have identified two venues dedicated to small events that can be managed, Villa Ormond and Villa Nobel, allowing us to set up a good schedule, even though we would have liked to do much more. It is a pleasure that the first two events are already fully booked. In any case, throughout the streets of Sanremo, we will have the opportunity to experience music, in collaboration with the operators, to offer good entertainment in serenity and tranquility for tourists and families, who will be welcomed with open arms.”
Music will be the leitmotif of the summer: “At this moment, we regret thinking about the exceptional time of the Piazza Colombo stage during the Festival, where we lived intensely and which represents the city’s highlight. Music must be the soul of Sanremo, and we have represented these evenings with a slogan, so that they become a link between residents and tourists. We want to live and love Sanremo. With tourism and outdoor excursions, with shopping and gastronomic experiences, you will be spoiled for choice. Additionally, we hope that those who visit us will fall in love with the city.”
