Yesterday, the employees of OGC Nice were received by President Ganaye. On the agenda was the presentation of the offer to buy the club by the British businessman Jim Ratcliffe. The Works Council approved this offer.
Significant progress has been made in the OGC Nice purchase deal. Unsurprisingly, the Works Council approved the buyout offer from the British billionaire. His brother, Robert Ratcliffe, personally presented the project to the club’s employees (we’re talking about a sum of over 100 million euros).
There is no longer any doubt about the purchase of the club. The remaining steps are to meet with the DNCG to approve the new budget and obtain the approval of the competition authority for OGC Nice to operate under British ownership.
