The NCA Metropolis has been reaffirmed with the Cit’Energy certification for the quality of its general energy and climate policy. This renewal comes at a time when the rating criteria are becoming increasingly ambitious.
According to the national evaluation commission, “the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis has successfully finalized essential structuring policies for the ecological and energy transition by mobilizing resources on the metropolitan strategy, such as the renewal of the integrated approach of the PLUm, taking into account the carbon impact in the energy performance of our buildings, or the prospect of a vulnerability and climate change adaptation assessment.”
Christian Estrosi, president of the Metropolis, acknowledged this result with satisfaction but does not want to stop there: “Today, we must continue our efforts, particularly in the field of public built heritage by striving for renewable electricity self-production and continuing the momentum initiated on heating and cooling networks; or in the field of mobility by supporting the development of electric mobility with soft or service mobility.”
