Since 1988, a partnership between the City of Nice and Nice Côte d’Azur Airport has allowed travelers who wish to do so to get vaccinated and/or receive advice before a trip abroad.

Following the health crisis, terminal 1 of the Azure airport had to close. In this terminal, there was an international vaccination center, managed by the City of Nice

After several years of closure, Terminal 1 reopened on Sunday, March 27th. Its international vaccination center will also return soon, this Monday, June 27th starting at 2 p.m.

Two weekly time slots are offered to start: Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. They will be adjusted according to demand. Without an appointment, individuals will be attended to by a doctor and a nurse.

The vaccines offered are as follows:

  1. Against yellow fever
  2. Against hepatitis A and B
  3. Against typhoid
  4. Against meningitis (A, C, Y, W)
  5. Against tick-borne and Japanese encephalitis
  6. Against rabies
  7. Against diphtheria, tetanus, polio, whooping cough

Before the closure in March 2020, the number of annual vaccinations was between 4,800 and 5,000 per year, including 3,000 against yellow fever.
