The City Hall no longer wants any disturbances on Saturdays: is it going to make a deal with the anti-vaxxers?

Christian Estrosi no longer wants disruptions, especially in front of the Christmas Market.

Faced with the perpetuation of marches in the city center on Saturday afternoons, which result in disrupting commercial activity during this festive period, the City Hall is seeking a resolution that necessarily involves a “cordial agreement” with the agitators.

A small delegation was received by the Director of the Cabinet for a preliminary meeting, and it is believed that they were asked to make proposals.

As they are asking the Mayor to “simply cancel the health pass” and to “put an end to mask-wearing in the Alpes-Maritimes,” the path seems quite steep.

Firstly, the protest movement, which has been holding all the citizens hostage for too many weeks, consists of only a few hundred activists, so one can legitimately question what representation it claims.

Finally, there is another (small?) problem: only the State and the Prefecture of the department can make such decisions. Not Christian Estrosi, nor any other Mayor of another city if this approach were to become widespread.
