To promote the arrival of the Tour de France, several initiatives are being put in place so that the people of Nice can embrace and experience the magic of this famous sporting competition. This is also the case in the city’s schools and nurseries. In this case, we visit the Terra Amata school group, from the nursery to primary school through kindergarten.

Our little ones had the privilege of enjoying delightful cycling-related activities. The little ones in kindergarten as well as the older ones learned to ride a bike or balance bike. Courses were planned for them, all in a joyful atmosphere with games and music. Finally, Aquila booklets and stickers, specifically created for the Tour de France’s arrival in Nice, were distributed to all the young children of the school. They will also be distributed to all children attending public and private nurseries and schools, as well as to hospitalized children.

The aim of this initiative is to โ€œtransmit the passion for cycling,โ€ says Antoine Berlin, a professional cyclist. Indeed, to set an example for the youngest, two professional cyclists visited the children of Terra Amata school. Antoine Berlin, mentioned above, as well as Matteo Trentin. Matteo Trentin is a professional cyclist who has won 8 Grand Tour stages, including 3 in the Tour de France. Our two pros were able to demonstrate and discuss with the younger generation to transmit and educate about the passion for cycling, which is becoming increasingly important today.
