What will be the jobs and sectors of activity of tomorrow? What profile, what personality is required to pursue these professions? How to find the most suitable training pathway? A choice that raises many questions and can sometimes become a source of stress for students, as well as their parents.

In light of the current and future socio-economic context, these burning questions might find some answers at the Nuit de lโ€™Orientation, which will be held tonight at the CCI Nice Cรดte dโ€™Azur.*

In fact, to help young people with their career orientation, the CCI Nice Cรดte dโ€™Azur, a leading operator in apprenticeship and training, is organizing the Nuit de lโ€™Orientation for the 6th year, starting at 5 PM, in a festive and relaxed atmosphere.

More than 230 professions will be represented this year, across all key sectors of the Riviera economy: tourism, industry, commerce, construction, communication and audiovisual, but also health, law, sustainable development, aeronautics, webโ€ฆ.

The 2016 edition program includes: a real orientation journey with an exceptional mobilization of professionals and companies from the Riviera:

The Multimedia Space: tests on www.inforizon.fr allowing young people to match their interests with professions (login: DMRSXZ57)

The Personalized Advice Space with 40 career advisors

The Speed Dating Space: more than 100 professionals to share their passion and profession in face-to-face meetings

The Info/Docs Space: with information and documentation stands, job sheets, and corresponding training programs.

Workshops and conferences will take place as follows:

From 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and from 8:45 PM to 9:45 PM: Careers in Engineering, a conference hosted by Engineers and Scientists of France โ€“ Cรดte dโ€™Azur

At 7:15 PM: “20 years old, Business Leader, so what? How to develop your creation idea,” hosted by the Business Creation/Transfer/Takeover Center of the CCI Nice Cรดte dโ€™Azur

Throughout the evening: Fab Lab demonstration. SoFAB, Sophia Antipolisโ€™s FabLab run by the Telecom Valley association, is a digital rapid prototyping workshop where the public and businesses can use machines
(laser cutter, 3D printers) to create prototypes of connected objects.

It is also a place for exchanging know-how among users called “makers,” open to young people who wish to explore some science and technical careers through the resources provided at the FabLab.
