For the third edition, Patrick de Beaussier, painter, will present his works at this salon. After jazz and rock, the killers are going to invade the walls of the Maurice Thorez Hall. Beware, among all these mobsters, things might get dangerous! Courageous ones, don’t abstain!
Here is an investigation below led by Patrick de Beaussier himself.
Nice-Premium: Patrick, do you know this painter artist?
Patrick de Beaussier: The author of the paintings and lithographs (about a hundred) displayed on the walls of the detective fiction salon in Drap this weekend is, apparently, a certain Patrick de Beaussier, a dangerous recidivist haunting this festival for 3 years.
N-P: Wow! Didn’t he also operate in Italy?
P. de B.: Yes. He stayed in Naples this spring, where he went to receive an international painting award (probably due to some somewhat questionable acquaintances).
N-P: Could he have been inspired during this trip to pursue a certain artistic direction?
P. de B.: He came back very (too) informed about the manners and excesses of this beautiful region. It results in a debauchery of dark scenes, but more true-to-life, mixing terrified victims and sly gangsters.
N-P: Patrick, knowing him well, could it be possible that this man is dangerous for society?
P. de B.: Yes, this man is extremely dangerous because he is too knowledgeable about all these practices.
N-P: You have investigated these “artistic crimes,” can you reveal some clues that will allow us to solve this increasingly worrying case for the people of Drap?
P. de B.: A whole part of his satanic work is further dedicated to the “killers” of cinema and rock, and there’s quite a crowd. Patrick de Beaussier spares no one and you may encounter from his denouncing brushes Marlon Brando, Robert Mitchum, Frank Sinatra, Mickey Rooney, Lee Van Cleef, Lino Ventura, Jack Nicholson and singers like Dum Dum Boys, Marilyn Manson, ACDC, Stranglers, Sepultura, and even our brave national Johnny subjected to public vindictiveness, all out of sheer sadism.
N-P: Patrick, any advice?
P. de B.: Be very careful because he will be in Drap on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September, confident in his support and his impunity. But this man deserves your attention to meet and tell him all the harm you think of him, but will he even be ashamed? It is unlikely from someone who has put his art and evil genius at the service of the demonic cause.
