Éric Ciotti has officially announced two appointments within the city of Nice. Christophe Picard has been appointed Director General of Services. Denis Cieslik has been appointed Cabinet Director.
The mayor of Nice, Éric Ciotti, has announced the appointment of Christophe Picard as Director General of Services for the city of Nice. Denis Cieslik has been appointed Cabinet Director.
“Since the municipal election, Christophe Picard has served as Cabinet Director to the mayor, while Denis Cieslik held the position of Deputy Cabinet Director. These new responsibilities are part of the continuity of the work undertaken over the past several weeks in service to the people of Nice.”
Christophe Picard had experience within territorial administration. His career has been marked by positions as Director General of Services for the Alpes-Maritimes department. A knowledge of local authorities and local issues that was widely emphasized by Éric Ciotti. Christophe Picard is to be replaced in his departmental role by José Ammendola, former special advisor to president Charles Ange Ginésy from 2017 to 2021.
Denis Cieslik has been presented as a senior civil servant. His career has been marked by his role as former spokesperson for Éric Zemmour during the 2022 presidential election and by the management of complex issues.
“These appointments reflect the mayor’s determination to rely on experienced and fully committed profiles, in order to guarantee effective and rigorous municipal action focused on the priorities of the people of Nice,” adds the new mayor.
