This Monday, January 12, at 4 pm at the CUM (Mediterranean University Center), the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur and its Apprenticeship Training Center honored their 160 apprentices during a diploma presentation ceremony.
“Mark an important milestone in the apprentices’ journey,” declared Gérald Carlin, director of the CFA Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur. The ceremony was organized by Anthony Borré, Deputy Mayor of Nice, Vice-President of the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, and Isabelle Brès, Mayor of Colomars, metropolitan councilor and president of the CFA. The ceremony highlighted the apprentices, as well as the initiatives carried out within the establishment.
Located on a 23,000 m² site, the CFA boasts multiple facilities to allow over 1000 apprentices and trainees to thrive in the best possible conditions.
The CFA Recognized
This year, the CFA’s training was significantly recognized. A student in hairdressing received the award for best apprentice in France. Apprentice in pastry, Ileana Viotti received a standing ovation from the entire room. She was recognized for her achievement of finishing 5th in the finals in the pastry category.

The CAP butchers from the CFA Nice Côte d’Azur were the first to receive their diplomas during the ceremony. Future bakers also had the opportunity to collect their diplomas.

Then came the time for the hairdressing apprentices, the most numerous within the CFA. A wave of students then flooded the stage. Only 11 boys were among the 55 graduates.

Then, the CAP, BP, and BTS aesthetics students were called to come up on stage to collect their golden ticket for their professional future. The ceremony concluded beautifully with the awarding of diplomas to future pastry chefs and the top graduates of each class.
