Nice fights against illiteracy with René Frégni

Latest News

In the context of the first conference on combating illiteracy, “Reading for All” is participating in the general movement to reevaluate the language. Writers are the custodians of the language, which is their tool and reason for living. Once a month, a writer will come to Nice to share with young people in difficulty the journey that led them to writing.

In the case of René Frégni, writing has proved essential for developing not only as a writer but also as an individual. It is his experience and his passion for the French language that he will communicate to the children and adolescents he meets over the course of a week.

This experience does not replace the education system’s program, as “Reading for All” is primarily aimed at touching the sensitivity and feelings of the young people.
