OGC Nice: Thuram and Todibo pre-selected for the French national team

Latest News

True leaders of the Azur club since last season, the two Aiglons continue to perform well in this campaign and are logically on the verge of national selection.

According to information from our colleagues at Nice-Matin, Jean-Clair Todibo and Khéphren Thuram have been pre-selected by Didier Deschamps for the upcoming gathering of the French national team. While the former Barça defender has only one appearance with the Espoirs, his midfield teammate is a key player for the U21s (14 caps, 2 goals) and had already received a pre-call-up before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

If the two players from Nice are called up, they will face the Netherlands with Les Bleus on Friday, March 24th at the Stade de France, and then the Republic of Ireland on Monday, March 27th in Dublin as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

By donning the tricolor jersey, Todibo and Thuram would be the first OGC Nice players to join Les Bleus since Christophe Jallet in 2018.
