Nice Première: Alexandre KROUTINSKY, can you introduce us to SUPINFO PACA?
Alexandre KROUTINSKY: Inaugurated in October 2005, SUPINFO PACA is located in the Nice Arénas Business Center.
SUPINFO PACA is primarily a regional branch of the Paris Higher School of Computer Science, known as SUPINFO!
Founded in 1965 and recognized by the state since 1972, SUPINFO trains computer engineers and awards a Level I degree (Master’s level) accredited by the state. The program spans five years as we incorporate a two-year preparatory cycle (integrated prep course) followed by a three-year engineering cycle.
The national and international presence of SUPINFO allows our students to start their studies at SUPINFO in Nice, for example, and then continue at other SUPINFO locations such as Paris, Bordeaux, Mâcon, Nîmes, Saint-Malo, Strasbourg, Troyes, Valenciennes, in Martinique, Réunion, or even in China (3 schools). Starting in October 2006, we will add Caen, Grenoble, Nantes, Toulouse, and Tours, as well as London (UK) and Montreal (Quebec, Canada) for international locations.
State-recognized and accepting scholarship students, SUPINFO is strongly supported by global leaders in the computer industry. Our students are able to obtain certifications from their first year of studies and pursue professional certifications throughout their curriculum.

As part of the increase in the number of students at SUPINFO PACA, we will be expanding our premises for the 2006-2007 academic year to better accommodate the “newcomers”.
The strength of SUPINFO PACA lies mainly in its students, a united group motivated by a real passion: Computing.
Students also do not hesitate to organize extracurricular meetings (sports, LAN Party, student evenings). The number of students for the upcoming academic year has tripled: proof that students enjoy their school and let it be known.
This team spirit is a key element in the continuity of the SUPINFO community, which is why we try to maintain it through events that bring together the entire SUPINFO community or by setting up communication means specific to SUPINFO, like the Supinfone, a tool allowing free internal communication with any member of SUPINFO worldwide, or events like this year’s, organized in La Plagne where students from “all over the globe” met and went skiing.
