Located in the heart of the Vençois area, in the Middle Country of Azure, La Gaude, with its 6,500 inhabitants, encapsulates all the charms of an authentic Provençal village (above Cagnes-sur-Mer), 10 kilometers from Nice Airport.
This delightful village, seen as a balcony over the Côte d’Azur, hosts for the tenth year, the “Book in the Street” event.
The primary goal of this festival is to foster genuine encounters: meetings with authors are thus very accessible, with discussions possible and notably easy, as the human scale of this festival favors simple and fruitful contacts.
This book festival explores numerous diverse cultural spaces, including cinema, music, theater, poetry, street performances, and entertainment in the broadest sense of the word. For this tenth edition, the book remains the star, this time paired up with comics to address the theme of commitment!
Numerous authors will come to illustrate and exchange their personal experiences with the public on this central theme: Richard Bohringer, Pascal Picq, Jennifer Dalrymple, Antoinette Fouque, Gaston Kelman…
