21st Night of the Stars: Observe the Stars of the Night!

Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6, 2011, from 8:00 PM to midnight at the Parc du Castel des 2 Rois โ€“ Nice

These two evenings will be a rare opportunity to observe the Moon, Saturn, double stars, star clusters, and nebulae. Indeed, Aquila is providing telescopes ranging from 8 to 40 cm in diameter free of charge.

Do not hesitate to bring your own equipment if you have it because, if you are unaware, you will also be able to learn how to photograph the moon.

So make sure to bring your cameras, guaranteed star shots!

Finally, a constellation drawing workshop and other celestial compositions will be offered to the younger ones, a quiz will allow attendees to test their stellar knowledge, and a constellation puzzle will be available to help participants learn to recognize stars while getting initiated into the mythological legends associated with the constellations.
