This Monday from 9:30 AM, and live on [www.nicecotedazur.org](https://www.nicecotedazur.org), the Metropolitan Council will take place with four important points on its agenda: Political Organization, Budget, Spatial Planning, and Environment.
If the segment concerning political organization should not pose major issues with the appointment of members to the metropolitan commissions, the election of members for the tender commission and the Commission for public service delegations and public-private partnerships will also occur. The main focus of this council meeting will undoubtedly be the budget. The approval of the 2013 administrative account and the main budget of the 2014 administrative account will, evidently, be widely discussed within the assembly. There is no doubt about the outcome of the votes, but it will be very interesting to see what strategies the opposition will use against this imposing majority.
Regarding spatial planning, it will be the Ray Hill that will capture all attention, but here a consensus should be more easily reached as the projects of the former candidates who were elected were similar, notably those of Christian Estrosi and Patrick Allemand. Therefore, it will be the summary of public consultation that will launch the major facelift of the district.
Finally, on the environmental side, there will be discussions about Urban Environmental Monitoring of the EcoCity with a research and development agreement between the Metropolis and five private partners. Additionally, there will be the presentation of the Metropolis’s 2013 sustainable development report, including the progress of the metropolitan Agenda 21.
A session to be followed live on the Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur website: www.nicecotedazur.org.
